Habitat
Primary lowland wet forest, near summit of small hill above Nickerie River at base of falls.

Description
Tree, 13 m. Flowers 4-5 cm diam. across petals; sepals light green, except apically pink; petals white; staminal hood yellow, except basally white, apical tubercles deep yellow. folded over forming ball enclosing androecium and gynoecium, this ball ca. 2 cm diam. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
