Habitat
Tropical wet/very wet forest transition zones. Rainfall approximately 4400 mm/year.

Description
Tree, 12 m. Outer bark light brown, thin. Inner bark green-yellow. Wood yellow-little discrepancy between inner bark and wood. Wood very hard. Fruits inverted, woody pods. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
