Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of the beach of Baia do Sol on Ilha Mosqueiro, Pará, taking into account the added uncertainty of the word "arredores" (surroundings) stated in the locality description. Used Google Earth and Google Maps - Earth View to locate Praia da Baia do Sol. Used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the beach. Because the center of the nearest named place, Praia do Paraiso, is farther from the center of Praia da Baia do Sol than the linear extent of Praia da Baia do Sol itself, followed Case A of Near a Named Place of the Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide. Because Praia da Baia do Sol does not have defined spatial boundaries on Google Maps, used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure from the selected coordinates to the nearest named beach along the coast of Baía de Marajó, Praia do Paraiso, then halving this distance. Input coordinates, linear extent (2175.0 m), and measurement error (2.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Near a Named Place).
