Habitat
Growing in valley forest on rich brown soil with much bamboo in the understory.

Description
Tree, 10m tall. Trunk 180 cm in girth 1 m above ground level. Blaze: wood white; bark thick, sandy-brown. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
