French Guiana. Nouragues Field Station. 100 km SSW of Cayenne and 40 km SW of Regina, ca. 7 km from Saut Pararé on the Arataï River. Chemin Terrace trail, on lower slopes of inselberg.

Description
Tree, 9 m tall. Flowers 5 cm diam., petals white. Flowers pointing downward. Everywhere but only a few individuals with flowers and these with few flowers. Many buds present.
