Rocky, well-shaded, somewaht mesic forest of mature white, red and chestnut oak, red maple, tulip poplar and ash, with low heath understory on a moderate WNW slope; at edge of intermittant stream in bottom ravine under sugar maple and other species. On sandstone rock.
