Habitat
Low secondary forest on lateritic gravel overlaying clay, close to the river.

Description
Tree, 8 m tall, 10 cm dbh; leaves coriaceous. Calyx pale green with hyline margins; corolla white; staminodial hood white outside, yellow inside; fertile anthers orange. Flowers with vanilla-like fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
