locally frequent in gallery forest along stream at edge of Partang Savannah, near mouth of Partang River.

Description
Tree 12-15m; receptable maroon, sepals deep rose without, petals rose, staminal apparatus deep pink (cerise), fruit turbinate, 2.5cm long; 'kariboong-yeck', used as tie material;. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
