Forest in broad, meandering stream vally in steeply hilly terrain.

Description
Tree. Tree 23 m x 60 cm, trunk sulcate toward base, outer bark brown, broadly and deeply fissured, shed in long narrow plates, inner bark tan, fibrous. Fruits ellipsoid, 2 cm long, maturing yellow, white latex in fruits. At base of steep slopes. USE: Wood highly valued as timber. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
