Tree. Tree 25 m x 80 cm, trunk fluted; outer bark brown, rough, flaky, thin, inner bark tan, brittle; latex scant in trunk, abundant in branchlet; flowers white. In low-lying area. N.V.: carapanaúba preta. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
