Habitat

Polylepis, melastome trees and Ericaceae as dominant shrubs. abundant.

Description

epiphytic shrub with branches to 2.5 m. pedicels green; calyx green heavily suffused with red; corolla tube red, limb and lobes pale yellowish-green.

filaments white tinged with pink; anther sack and lower 1/2 of tubu-le white, upper 1/2 golden yellow; immature fruits green
