Habitat
Evergreen scrub, changing in seasonally dry forest, terrestrial ferns only Pteridium, Pteris (ssp.) & Asplenium auritum almost no epiphytic ferns. Forest disturbed by cattle, in some places cut, very few palms. Trees to 25 m, herb layer in forest sparse.
