Sandstone rocks with open sands in flatter areas. Open scrub in shelter of rocks.

Description
Very bushy subshrub to ca. 40 cm. Leaves crowded, dark green. Calyx green with dark red tinge. Petals vermilion with basal yellow zone. Stamens bright yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
