Habitat
Terrace ("tabuleiro") with some swampy areas, soils sandy. High density of slender-trunked trees but canopy discontinuous, few trees exceeding 15-20 m x 30 cm. Rare.

Tree. Tree 12 m x 18 cm, some prop roots, latex yellow, flower red except for white styles and stigmas. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
