French Guiana. Camp Arataï on Arataye River, a short distance from the mouth of the Arataye River at junction with the Approuague River. Near camp on unmarked trail leading to abandoned steel drums on upstream side of camp.

Description
Liana. Tepals raspberry red, with reddish-brown spot at bases, corona white, androgynophore white mottled red, anthers and stigma greenish-white. Glands exuding nectar on buds. UNICATE AT NY. [Photos, DNA].
