    Shrubs arching to 2-3 m. Leaves very green above, very pale below. Pedicels green; hypanthium winged, reddish on green. Corolla deep crimson to coral-red, carnose. Filaments united in a tube, the tube pink; connective white; anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
