  • Description

    Pileus dark brown (7F8) to somalis brown (7E5), dry, subvelutinous, irregularly pitted. Flesh white, changing to reddish when exposed, up to 1 cm thick. Tubes depressed around stipe, wax yellow (3B5), unchanging; pores concolorous, unchanging. Stipe 7 cm long, 15 mm broad, clavate, dry, finely scabrous on ridged surface (pallid); scabers pastel yellow (3A4). Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
