Description
Tubes yellow (4A6-5), deeply depressed around stipe; pores concolorous, not staining, <1 mm broad. Flesh not changing to red when exposed, very pale yellow. Pileus heavily rugose, brown to dark brown (6E-F8), velutinous, 4 cm broad. Stipe yellow and pruinose above, scabrous below and gray brown on sordid yellow ground, with yellow basal mycelium, ±equal to slightly broader below. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
