French Guiana. Trésor Nature Reserve, Roura to Kaw road (Route Departamentale #6), PK 29, 17 km E of Roura.

Description

Tree, 12 m x 15 cm. Pedicel, hypanthium and calyx red, androecium and petals pink with white toward bases of both. Sepals imbricate 1/2 - 3/4 length, well differentiated from hypanthium in color. Style oblique, 6 mm long. Ovary prolonged above sepal attachment. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
