Belize. Toledo. Savanah between the Southern Highway and abandoned village of Chun Bank, ca. 1 mile SW of the Bladen river.

Habitat
Flat terrain, frequently inundated, and burned. Growing with: Quercus, Pinus, Acoelorraphe, Byrsonima, Clethra, Clidemia and many grasses and sedges.

Description
Shrub 1.3 m tall, white pubescent all over; leaves dark green and shiny above, pale below; fruit beginning red then turning aqua green.
