Habitat
With water worn horizontally bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand, sedge marsh, exposed rock with waterfall. Vegetation open scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas.

Description
Viscid subshrub to ca. 1 m. Leaves dull green, paler beneath. Sepals reddish-tinged. Petals magenta. Stamens pale pinkish. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
