    Mixed restinga, much disturbed with areas subject to flooding with some mangrove species, and some high restinga on higher ground.

  • Description

    Tree to 15 m; Twigs green, glabrous, with yellow latex. Leaves stiffly coriaceous, dark green above, paler below. Fruit depressed-sperical, dark glaucous green, with yello latex, 3.5 cm long, 4 cm wide, calyx and stamens persisting brown-withered at base. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
