Village. E side of Gaoligong Shan near the crest of the
range, just N of the new road from Baoshan to Tengchong
via Nankang Yakou.

E facing 0-10° slope.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by clearing.
Undisturbed dense forest with some cleared patches.
Forest with many epiphytic orchids and ferns as well as
abundant moss. Forest understory relatively open.
Epiphytic shrub ca. 1.5 m tall. Flowers pendulous, pale
blue with darker stripes and yellow in throat.
Occasional.
Growing on trees on moist forested slope.
On bark of living trees on decomposed granite.
