Mixed Dipterocarp forest, associates include, Shorea,
Knema, Semecarpus, Lithocarpus. Red clay soil.
Morphology:
Tree 15 m tall, 9 cm dbh. Outer bark greyish-white, flaking
in large patches. Leaves light green, shiny. Calyx light
yellowish-green, stamens white. Newly disturbed primary
forest, open area.
Local name: Ubah bunkang
