Habitat:	Lowland rain forest on ridgetop.
Altitude 600 feet.
Annot. Tree; buttresses of compression
type, tall, thin and narrow. Height
60 feet, d.b.h. 9 inches. Bark reddish-
grey, rugose; a few shallow fissures
present. Blaze light red-brown. Wood
dark orange to orange. Odour and exudate
absent. Leaves green on upper surface;
light green on lower surface. Flowers
bluish-grey (calyx); petals light green.
