coriaceous, dull dark green above, medium green
below; stipules yellow-green, caducous; fruits
translucent white, 2-seeded, infructescence
axes white.
Notes: Generally infrequent in area; climbing on
Alstonia spathulata.
Locality: Morobe Province: logging road near
Markham Village, along the margin of Labu
Swamp.
Habitat: Swamp forest on alluvial flats,
periodically flooded forest.
