Common in a moist hollow in Castanopsis-oak
forest; shrub 1-1.5 mI "branches spreading;
flowers white, densely flecked with "brown;
fruits depressed globose, c. 15-16 mm diameter,
soft & red when ripe.
Eastern Highlands District: Arau , alt. 1400 m.
