with exsiccatae sequence 11093-11110; glabrous tree, 10 m
height, single sighting; wood white, very dense, exudate bright
yellow; stipules 0. Leaves borne near the stem apices, sessile
decussate, firm to coriaceous, adaxial surface dull medium green
abaxially yellow green and glandular-lineate; lamina subovate
typical blade 11.5 x 7 cm, margin revolute, base cordate and
clasping the axil; venation with laterals numerous and spreading
obscure in the fresh leaf, distinct in sicco; flowers fascicled, axillary
or ramiflorous, seemingly bisexual but probably functionally
unisexual and plants dioecious; pedicels pink; sepals 2; petals 4,
concave, free, decussate, pale yellow; androecium connate into 2
or 4 phalanges, free and stipitate_or coalescent, the processes
white, anthers brown; pistiliode obsolete, style gradually arvd
acroscopically expanded; stigma dilate, discoid-peltate.
