exsiccatae sequence 11491 - 11498; 20 m canopy tree next to
Kania eugenioides 11491; basal swell present; outer trunkbark
orange-brown, flaking; slash yellowish, exudate yellow and viscous-
sapwood straw; twigs slender, subterete, shiny green, branching
pattern distichous and plane with leaves; leaves distichous,
resinous, coriaceous, adaxial surface dark green, abaxially yellow-
green; lamina elliptic, typical blade 7 cm x 2 cm, apex caudate,
margin entire, base cuneate; lateral veins fine and numerous
reticulations obscure; inflorescence in axillary fascicles, flower buds
yellow-green, globose; perianth segments reflexing at anthesis-
stamens branched.
