Lowland mixed dipterocarp forest on sandstone derived clay
Morphology:
Tree 18 m tall, 35 cm dbh. Bole with very irregular fluting.
Outer bark orange brown, flaky, large lenticels, soft. Inner
bark pale pink. Buds white, immature fruits green, turning
yellow. Flowers: calyx pale yellow, corolla white with pale
violet near base, pistil white.
