More or less disturbed primary forest c.
35 m high, on margin and slope of deep
ravine. Deep clayey volcanic soil.
Tree 10 m high. Clear bole 2.5 m, 15 cm
dbh. Outer bark to 0.5 mm thick, ochrish
with coarse irregular cracks and eleva-
ted lenticells, not peeling off. Inner
bark 3 mm.thick, cream-coloured, soon
turning brown, without exudate.
Flowers white, anthers pale yellowish.
Fruits not mature, pale greenish.
