Small bushy tree to 3 m. Leaves cor-
iaceous slightly glossy* dark green
above* pale below* venation obsure.
Flowers with reddish pedicels held be-
low the branches. Corolla pale green*
sometimes tinged red* lobes becoming
recurved. Anthers golden brown. Style
at first included* gradually becoming
excerted. Young fruits pale green.
