Heavily disturbed slopes along road, below montane rainforest. Locally common.

Description
Terrestrial shrub to 2.5-3 m tall. Corolla gibbous at base, red with inside of lobes dark purple. Flowers pendent; fruit erect. Locally common. [DNA].
