Habitat:	Garden	and	coconut	area.
Annot. Open-grown tree; buttresses
up to 8 ft. by 3 ft., concave; height
45 ft., bole 12 ft., d.b.h. 16 inches.
Bark light grey to grey-brown, some-
what scaly (the scales very large);
not fissured, lenticular. Blaze light
orange brown. Wood cream. Odour
similar to the general odour of a
motor garage. Exudate cream coloured,
not rapidly flowing. Leaves dark green,
above; light green below. Fruit green;
Fam. black or purple black when ripe;
smooth.
