slope; soil extremely shallow.
Altitude 150 feet.
Arcnot. Tree. Buttresses arising from
a complex of adventitious stilt roots;
9 feet high by 5 feet wide, concave;
height 100 feet; bole 60 feet; d.b.h.
26 inches. Bark grey-brown, somewhat
platy, lenticels scattered. Inner bark
pink. Blaze red-brown. Wood cream. A
small amount of watery exudate present.
Odour somewhat strong spicy but not arom-
atic. Leaves green on upper surface,
yellow green on lower surface. Fruit
