Tree, about 26 m. high, with regular
distributed wide, densely foliaged
crown. The thick branches more or les-
horizontally, DBH.	50	cm.	Bole
cylindrical 1 no buttresses•Outer bark
peeling in rather thin dark brown
flaky scales. Wood extremely hard
twisted, pale brownish-white. The
small heart-wood brown. The first
branches 15 m. above the ground.
Leaves leathery, dull and very darkxg
green above, also dull but much paler
green beneath. Young leaves red, via
bronze turning green.Flowers probably
al Cf. Sepals 4,pale green.Petals 4,
pale lemmon-yellow. Stamen-bundles 4
whitish, curved to the centre of the
flower, bearing many whitish anthers.
A orange-yellow sticky stigma like
structure in the centre of the flower
Flowers faintly fragrant.
