Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest
Undisturbed.
Well developed forest dominated by Lithocarpus and Schima
with scattered Pinus on dryer slopes.
Spindly shrub ca. 3 m tall. Flowers purple. Fruit green with
brown trichomes. Occasional. Growing in forest.
In loam on granite.
