of Shibali, on the N side of the N fork of Yamu He, E
side of Gaoligong Shan.

SW facing 0-10° slope.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest.
Disturbed by felling.
Primary forest slightly disturbed by some felling
dominated by Fagaceae and Lauraceae.
Woody vine climbing ca. 6-8 m up trees. Petals white
but mostly in bud. Sepals outer surface white, inner
surface green. Filaments white, anthers brown. Common.
Growing at forest margin on a moist slope.
In loam on granite.
