11 inches. Bark very thin; red brown;
slightly fissured, prominent lenticels
in vertical rows; inner bark orange;
blaze red brown with large canals.
Wood creamy white. Turbid watery ¡teap
present; strong odour of chewing gum
(rather sweet);.. Leaves yellow-green on
lower surface.,. Buds yellow-green.
