K.W* 19486 A glabrous very aromatic tree of small size. Bark green. Leaves
dark green., Shining above pale beneath, veins inconspicuous, practically
invisible* below. Old leaves turn red before falling. Flowers very small,
perfect stamens 6, staminodes 3> anthers 2 celled(?}. The crashed leaves
smell ©f lemon grass. A single tree found on the river bank, sheltered from
wind and sun. Probably n@t rarein suitable places. With it Pittosporum
floribundum, Quercus glauca, Ligustrom robustum etc.
