exposed open area, bottom of hill.

Disturbed secondary forest, exposed open area. Associates
include: Annonaceae, Burseraceae, Meliaceae.
Morphology:
Till tree 17 m, 30 cm dbh. Outer bark dark grey,
longitudinally fissured, cracked and scaly, rough. Inner bark
pale orange. Wood sweet aroma. Leaves dark green above
light green beneath. Flower bud light green.
