WHITE MOUNTAINS: Crooked Creek headwaters around research station, Deep Springs
Valley watershed. Locally common. Sandy granitic alluvium sloping 2°NNE, with
Gayophytum, Monolepis nuttalliana, Plagiobothrys hispidulus, Nama dens a, Artemisia
tridentata vaseyana, Hordeum brachyantherum, Deschampsia caespitosa, etc. Bushy annuals
to 5 cm high, corollas yellow with sparse reddish markings.
