15°43’01”S, 63°08’15”W. alt. 195 m.
Extensive flat lowland, seasonally inundated, now dried up
and only the ponds under the causeway bridges. Heavily
grazed.
Prostrate on gravelly and sandy soil in unshaded, trampled
area near a pond at the causeway bridge, obviously a short-
lived annual as this area will be flooded and the dry soil
now with much dead Eichhornia from last year’s rainy
season.
