Besakih.
750 m 8°20S; 115°26E. Tropical, semi-deciduous
forest, canopy 10-20 m high; substrate igneous;
dominants include Engelhardia, etc.
Midstory tree 10 m tall, branching above; bole
straight, cylindrical, 13 cm dbh; bark gray, rough;
fruits purplish.
