Rhododendron
' Occasional epiphyte of the middle spaces on big
trees in moist, mossy forest; shrub of erect
habit, up to c. 1 in high; leaves stiff, convex,
the margins much recurved; flowers pendent, red,
usually solitary (sometimes in pairs). Photo-
