Non-flooded moist forest, ca. 50-125 m elev.
Tree 8 m tall, 10.2 cm dbh. Bole cylindrical
with knobs where flowers and fruits are
produced. Not buttressed. Outer bark scaly,
soft, dark grey-brown; inner bark hard,
fibrous, medium orange-yellow. Sapwood
yellowish-white. No exudate. Flowers
cauliflorous, light yellow colored. N.V.
