BREADFRUIT OF THE PACIFIC ISLANDS, ___ „ Mei ketieu MORACEAE Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg Pohnpei Madolenihmw Municipality Ipwetk Fruits oblong to elongate (19x12 cm) with 7 cm stalk tightly and shallowly inserted. Pale green, very rough with raised, hard, pointed sections. Very light-weight for its size. Leaves moderately to deeply dissected with 1-3, mosdy three pairs of lobes and a large tip. Some leaves have two lobes on one side and three on the other. Soft, dull smooth blade with green veins. Profuse medium-length appressed white hairs on upper veins.
