Leaves moderately dissected with 1-3, mostly three pairs of overlapping lobes with slightly undulate margins and a large tip. Dark, smooth blade with green veins. Few hairs on either surface. Tree -7 m. Ethnobotany - Name means 'fall in pond' refers to falling of immature fruit from cluster with single one remaining at maturity.
