BREADFRUIT OF THE PACIFIC ISLANDS MORACEAE Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg Yap Yap Proper Dugor Village Fruits immature. Male inflorescence 26 cm. Elongate up to forearm long with 7-11 cm stalk deeply inserted into raised, elongated row of sections. Rough with raised rounded sections with hard center point. Pale yellow flesh, litde latex when cut. Leaves symmetrical, deeply dissected with four pairs of pointed lobes. No to few hairs on upper veins. Tree -10 m. Ethnobotany - Very tasty fruit.
