Pohnpei Agriculture Station breadfruit collection. Tree 3. Located on left side of entrance road
to station. Tree closest to road.
No fruits or male inflorescences. Leaves typical of Piipiia: distorted and twisted. Deeply
dissected with 3-4 overlapping lobes. Dark green, flexible blade with green veins. Profuse long
reddish-white hairs on all upper veins. Underside rough with short dense hairs. Tree diameter
-45 cm, height «7 m.
